Funny things kids say
I have a feeling I will be posting many of these! My dear little sweetie says the funniest things. Here are a few of the most recent comments that make me snicker!
On arriving home from preschool:
"Mommy when I grow up I am going to be evil!"
Me - "What?!"
"Yes I am going to be evil when I grow up! That way I can walk home by myself."
I hope she means able not evil!
I had just finished this dress, minus the pink net ruffles:

It was just before preschool started so I asked her "Would you like to wear this dress to school today?"
"No, I'll wait until you add the ruffles."
What?!?! Who said I was adding ruffles! As you can see she was probably right, it is much cuter with the ruffles.
Last one for today:
St. Patrick's Day I'm whipping her up a little peasant dress just before school. She stood there watching me for quite a while in her jammies. All of a sudden she heads off to her room.
"Where are you going?" I asked
"To get dressed for school."
"Don't you want to wear the dress I'm making for you?"
"No, I don't think it will be cute enough."
"Fine I'll give it away"
She stopped and turned around.
"Well I guess I can wait and see if it's cute enough."
She ended up loving it:

I'm Back!
I'm sorry I've been out of things a bit. There's been some big changes around here. Our new addition came early and we have really struggled with him. He's doing better now so I'm getting back on track!
